Educational Foundation for ISKCON
Over the past 50 years ISKCON has grown across various geographies and its demographics has become very wide. With increased membership and diversity, the educational and training needs of ISKCON members and leadership, too have multiplied significantly over the decades. Srila Prabhupada emphasized the need of a very strong education system within ISKCON. Yet a quick evaluation would demonstrate that ISKCON educational efforts have much ground to cover to fulfill the desire of Srila Prabhupada. There is an urgent need to coordinate and develop more and more educational programs. Programs that embrace latest technology to reach out to devotees far and wide. This seminar will analyze the gaps in our educational programs. It will share the best practices we can adopt within ISKCON to build education systems that go beyond borders yet never lose fidelity to Srila Prabhupada’s books as the foundation.
